A Bit About Me

I am passionate about working with individuals to integrate their mental wellness and everyday life in order to obtain sustainable improvements, particularly those facing difficulty after experiencing trauma or loss.

My work is client centered using a strength based approach through a trauma focused lens.  I believe in adjusting sessions to meet the individual needs and goals of my clients. During sessions we may use yoga or art in addition to talking about whatever feels useful.

I have been providing clinical supervision for students, Registered Psychotherapists and Social Workers since 2021. My areas of specialization for supervision are complex trauma, interpersonal violence, family court and child protection.

My education background includes a B.A. in Psychology and Political Science from Alma College and a M.S.W. from the University of Michigan.  I am a Registered Social Worker and a professional member of the Ontario College of Social Workers.

I have over 15 years of experience working with individuals and families during some of the most challenging times in their lives and strive to assist them in developing their skills to feel their full range of emotions and move forward towards whatever life is desired.
